xXx and other Vin Diesel Movies

I know it gets a lot of flack, but I find this movie... entertaining. It's nor more/less lame than any of the older Bond movies (in fact, that's the point). Same cheesy and impossible action sequences, a plot that doesn't make much sense on reflection, really bad bad-guys, sexy co-star (Asia Argento!)... I don't think it's a good movie, mind, just entertaining.
Of course, I feel the same about Die Another Day.
On the subject of Vin Diesel, who after firmly planting his feet in the action genre with the ability to play a singular badass, somehow fizzled a little. He did a great job being Chaotic Evil in Pitch Black- say what you will, I liked Pitch Black and, for a different reason, Chronicles of Riddick. I even enjoy Dark Fury, although it seems very much like the non-sequitor of the series.
Not to say that he's a good actor- but hell, I don't think Bruce Willis is much better. In fact, there's a lot of room for comparison there. I don't think Bruce Willis plays one character that's surprising.... well, subtract Singing Cat Burglar (Hudson Hawk) from the list. But other than that, it's all been just about the same character.
And for two years, there haven't been ANY movies. In fact, between Babylon A.D. and The Chronicles of Riddick: Dark Fury came out, he's had two movies. The Pacifier and Find Me Guilty. That's a period of four years where there was, pretty much, nothing. (Oh, and he popped into the Tokyo Drift, apparently.)
However, this years' release of Babylon A.D. just precedes another The Fast and the Furious release in 2009 (called Fast and Furious, from what I can tell) and Hannibal the Conqueror, which they're still in the 'kicking the idea around' stage, apparently.
I'm crossing my fingers- Vin's my pick to play Kratos, should anybody (except Uwe Boll) decide to turn God of War into a movie. If Uwe Boll gets the movie, I'll be seriously considering Seppuku.

I liked Vin as the voice of The iron Giant, does that count?

Martian Movies
My fondness for him is totally a guilty pleasure, and I won't even defend it as anything but. I just thought his career dip was kinda interesting.
I think he's a one trick pony, but I like watching him run his paces anyway- if that makes sense.
